Just to say on my final post, we had some wonderful wines on our trip, from Brunello di Montalcino, Montefalco Sagrantino, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Motelfalco Passito. We brought 12 bottles back with us right through to the States then onto Antigua in the Caribbean all safe and sound. You may ask how? Well this would be the reason, loved it. A great find and 12 bottles are less than 50lbs for check in on your flight.

Friday, August 14, 2015. Naples - a great city worth a visit. Naples is an amazing city. We travelled to Naples in Summer so it was hot. But we always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the diversity the city has to offer. With almost 4 million inhabitants it is one of the largest cities in Europe and indeed one of the oldest continual inhabited cities dating back to 200BC. It has a flourishing port with many international cruise liners docking in the port.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Summer Living Room in the basement. Finally it is finished! Then we hung the mirrors and the picture and spent the rest of the evening admiring our handiwork. On Wednesday we took a day off and went to the beach. Then we went to Orsogna to buy supply of wine for return trip. After all, we had an empty van for return! Thursday we worked all day in the garden and cleaned, ready to close the house till next spring! View to the door.
